A full-floor penthouse above Brera by Pietro Navarro-Busch, 2021. Warm travertine, honey oak, and the Duomo at golden hour.
Penthouse Solaris occupies the entire top floor of a 2021 Brera residential tower designed around the idea of captured light. Pietro Navarro-Busch oriented the main living volume due south: a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass that holds the Milan skyline from morning until the Duomo catches the last hour of sun.
The interior is built from two materials only: Roman travertine and unfinished honey oak. Floors, walls, and kitchen surfaces are continuous travertine; every door, shelf, and fitted wardrobe is the same single board of quarter-sawn oak. The effect is warm in a way that cold stone normally refuses to be.
Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a 92-metre south terrace with an outdoor kitchen and a lap pool inset flush with the decking. The penthouse is sold with a private garage for four cars, a wine cellar, and a separate caretaker's studio.
